Fortnite leaked skins as well as upcoming gliders, pickaxes and emotes have been uncovered by dataminers rummaging through the update 6.02 game files.
Fortnite servers have been taken down today ahead of the rollout of update 6.02, which brings with it the Quad Launcher and Disco Domination LTM.
The Fortnite update also signals the return of the Skull Trooper skin, which was last available to get back in season 1.
The ‘Skull Squad’ gear will be available in the item shop and brings with it challenges that help players unlock extra gear.
The description reads: “Skull Squad Gear available now! Complete challenges to earn the Ghost Portal Back Bling”.
A host of other Fortnite skins were revealed by leakers, the vast majority of which have a Halloween theme.
In the main the new Fortnite skins all have spooky names: Hollowhead, Plague and Scourge.
The exceptions to these are the new Jack Gourdon and Bullseye cosmetics.
While other items, such as the Plague Glider, new pickaxes and a selection of new emotes were revealed in posts by the Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks Twitter.

The Fortnite leaked skins were discovered in the game files for update 6.02, which is being released today.
Outlining what’s coming in the download in the patch notes, Epic Games said: “GET FUNKY.
“Bust-a-move in the new Limited Time Mode in Battle Royale and clear waves of enemies with a returning weapon in Save the World.”
Describing the new Disco Domination LTM Epic said: “Break out your best moves and take control of the dance floor in this new Limited Time Mode.”
And in their description for the Quad Launcher the Fortnite makers said: “Fire rockets in quick succession towards enemies with this new weapon to earn an explosive Victory Royale!”
