RIOT breaks out at the UFC 229 after victorious Numagomedov ATTACKS McGregor’s team

Three arrests have been confirmed.

The fight, which took place in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, was won by Numagomedov who tapped out McGregor in the fourth round.

As soon as he had won, the boxer leapt out of the Octagon and appeared to attack Bellator fighter Dillon Dani, an ally of McGregor’s.

McGregor was then attacked from behind by two of Numagomedov’s friends.

They jumped inside of the ring to make contact with the Irish sportsman.

Welterweight champion Tyrone Woodley said: “Khabib’s coaches went after Conor after he was recovering from a loss. It was complete chaos.”

Danis was escorted out by police while UFC president Dana White refused to hand over the belt.

President White told the winner: “If I put this belt on you here, people are going to start throwing sh*t into the Octagon.

“Someone else is gonna get hurt.”

Then, Nurmagomedov himself was escorted out by police, while beer and cups were thrown at him.

Official Octagon announcer has confirmed that Nurmagomedov is still the UFC lightweight champion, although neither fighter was present during the announcement.

Michael Bisping, a former UFC Middleweight Champion, expects Numagomedov to face criminal charges.

The retired MMA fighter said: ”I have never seen anybody make such a mistake in my entire life. Khabib fought brilliantly and did everything perfectly.

“He finished Conor perfectly. That was it. It was revenge. That’s all he had to do.

“He had dignity and class all week but now he’s ruined it on an epic style.

“He’s absolutely destroyed his reputation.

“He could lose his lightweight title, he is probably going to face criminal charges and a suspension by the commission.

“He might have his visa revoked. This is ridiculous.”
