Huawei P20 Pro launched back in March and was critically-acclaimed for bringing myriad premium features to the table.
But its triple-lens camera system was by far the phone’s headline aspect.
The combination of its main sensor with a telephoto and monochrome lens delivered an incredible end-product.
And the phone performed incredibly in low-light conditions too, making the P20 Pro one of the best smartphone cameras around.
We loved Huawei’s flagship at Express.co.uk and awarded it a full five out of five stars in our review.

Technology Editor David Snelling said: “Huawei has been making smartphones for years but nothing has grabbed our attention quite like the P20 Pro.
“This flagship easily keeps pace with the competition and in many ways it actually outclasses its rivals.
“The triple camera is fabulous, it looks great and that battery life is so impressive other manufacturers should be embarrassed about their lacklustre performance.
“The P20 Pro is up there with the best of them and we wouldn’t be surprised if Huawei’s trophy cabinet isn’t full with awards by the end of 2018.”
But it appears the P20 Pro is going to be radically challenged on October 16 when Huawei unveils its latest and greatest flagship, the Mate 20 Pro.
Mate 20 Pro has been rumoured for months with photos of alleged units appearing online showing the phone with a similar triple-camera setup to the P20 Pro.
However it appears the placement of the sensors is going to be different on the Mate 20 Pro.
That is because claimed images of the phone have shown its trio of cameras and flash placed in a square shape rather than being stacked in a vertical line like on the P20 Pro.
And Huawei have added further fuel to such rumours by releasing a teaser video clip that featured the words “this is Mate” in a similar-looking outline recently.
Huawei has scheduled a hardware event in London on October 16 that is expected to detail all the new features about its flagship.
The Chinese firm has already heavily suggested the Mate 20 Pro will come packing the firm’s latest and greatest processor, the Kirin 980.
Huawei’s Kirin 970 processor was offered in the P20 Pro and while it was blisteringly quick, its successor is expected to take performance to the next level.
Mate 20 Pro has been rumoured to flaunt a colossal 6.9-inch display with a small notch at the top.
Moreover the device has been predicted to come with at least 6GB of RAM although an 8GB option could also arrive.
Although a score of features about the Huawei Mate 20 Pro have been speculated, nothing has officially been confirmed by the Chinese tech behemoth.
However, everything about the phone will surely be discussed on October 16.
Express.co.uk will be covering Huawei’s showcase live.
