Dillon Danis ‘escorted out by police’ after Khabib attack following Conor McGregor fight

Khabib had stopped McGregor in the fourth round, forcing the Irishman to tap out following a choke.

But as soon as he had won, the Russian leapt out of the Octagon and appeared to launch an attack at Danis.

Chaos ensued inside and outside of the Octagon with Danis then escorted from the arena by police while McGregor was also led away.

Nurmagomedov was demanding his belt from UFC President Dana White however he was refused before the Russian left the arena too before any media commitments.

Danis is McGregor’s grappling coach with Khabib a very keen grappler.

Indeed, the Russian was looking to get McGregor onto the floor at every opportunity, with many thinking the referee should have stopped the fight in round two.

Nurmagomedov had been pummelling McGregor while in control on the floor but the Irishman survived the round.

He didn’t survive much longer though with the champion’s unbeaten run extending to 27-0.
