What’s wrong with Morata!?! Alvaro Morata in SHOCK celebration after GREAT Chelsea goal

Morata has endured a rocky season for Chelsea.

The striker has never really excelled since his £60m move from Real Madrid in 2017.

He has struggled for game time under new manager Maurizio Sarri but led the line for Chelsea on Thursday night against MOL Vidi.

Morata missed a number of chances in the Europa League group game at Stamford Bridge.

He finally broke the deadlock midway through the second half, finishing Willian’s forward ball first time.

But the Spaniard did not exactly reel away in delight following the goal.

Instead, he trundled over to Brazilian Willian and buried his head in his team-mates embrace.

Morata’s sole goal before tonight’s strike the season was in the 3-2 win over Arsenal in August.

He had managed just three goals in the second half of last season too – something that cost him a place in Spain’s World Cup squad.

Morata’s strike proved to be the winner in west London on Thursday night as Chelsea saw off a spirited MOL Vidi 1-0.

The win sees move top of Group L, with PAOK and BATE Boris each a point behind the Blues.
