Shiny Drowzee Pokemon Go: How to catch, tips to get Shiny Hypno in Psychic event

Shiny Drowzee Pokemon will be appearing for the first time in during the Psychic Spectacular event.

The Pokemon Go event will also give trainers the chance to add a Shiny Hypno to their collection of pocket monsters.

POKEMON GO – WHEN DOES THE PSYCHIC SPECTACULAR EVENT START? WHEN WILL IT FINISH?

The Pokemon Go Psychic Spectacular event starts on October 5 2018.

The start time is 1pm pacific time, which is 9pm BST and 4pm eastern time.

The Pokemon Go event will finish on October 14 2018, ending at the same time that it began at.

POKEMON GO – HOW DO I CATCH A SHINY DROWZEE? WILL A SHINY HYPNO APPEAR IN THE WILD?

Your best chance for trying to get a Shiny Drowzee looks to be trying to catch it in the wild.

According to research by Silph Road, there’s a one in 450 chance of catching a shiny Pokemon in the wild.

Drowzees are also right now hatching from 5km eggs so there’s a chance you’ll be able to get the shiny version of the psychic Pokemon that way.

If you’re hoping that you may be able to encounter a Shiny Drowzee or Shiny Hypno in a Raid then you’re out of luck.

Currently Shiny Drowzees and Shiny Hypnos are not in Raid battles.

If you want a Shiny Hypno then the only way you’ll be able to do this is catch a Shiny Drowzee and then evolve it.

You’ll need 50 candy to evolve a Shiny Drowsee into a Shiny Hypno.

Ahead of the Shiny Drowzee and Shiny Hypno going live the appearance of the new-look Pokemon has been leaked.

Shiny Drowzee has a light pink colour instead of its usual yellow and brown, while Shiny Hypno boasts a darker pink colour than its typical yellow.

During the upcoming Pokemon Go event more psychic Pokemon will appear in the wild.

Here are some of the creatures you’ll see more of: Abra, Ralts, and Baltoy.

Elsewhere, the Mewtwo Raid is still going on if you want to catch the legendary psychic Pokemon. It’s running until October 23.
