Sony Xperia XZ3 price, specs, features and DEALS detailed ahead of Friday release

Sony Xperia XZ3 was first shown off at IFA 2018 and the Japanese firm touted its lush 6-inch panel as a reason to pick it up.

Sony has claimed its BRAVIA TV technology is packed inside the Xperia XZ3 that will allow for superb HDR and high-contrast.

The technology giant said: “Experience Sony’s BRAVIA TV technology in your hand with the Xperia XZ3’s OLED display that pushes the high-contrast, colour and detail of High Dynamic Range (HDR) even further.

“Stay fully immersed with the QHD+ (1440 x 2880 pixels) display resolution paired with Sony´s Dynamic Vibration System and powerful stereo speakers.”

The Xperia XZ3’s screen flaunts minimal bezels and the body of the product is a melding of two glass panels with an aluminium frame.

Most notably the phone comes pre-installed with Android 9 Pie, meaning the latest and greatest software from Google is offered.

Moreover the internals of the phone should also allow for extremely snappy performance.

That is because the Android flagship comes equipped with a Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

A 3,300mAh battery is also housed inside the device and a 19-megapixel camera sits on its rear.

Sony Xperia XZ3 is available to pre-order right now – the device comes in at £699.

The phone comes in black, white silver and Bordeaux red finishes.

Ahead of the phone’s full debut, mobiles.co.uk has announced numerous deals that are exclusive to the Dixons Carphone retailer.

Customers can pick up the Xperia XZ3 with 4GB of data for £23 per month if they are willing to pay a £135 upfront cost through Vodafone.

Another Vodafone deal provides 16GB of data for £32 a month and has an upfront cost of £125.

Meanwhile the retailer has a deal from EE that offers 9GB of mobile data for £28 per month.

However, this offer comes with a £125 upfront charge.

And finally EE if offering a whopping 30GB of internet for £33 a month if customers pay £50 upfront.

However, Sony is also offering its own tantalising deal for the phone on its website.

Such an offer will surely be extremely tempting to Android fans who also love to game.
