Manchester United have had a tough start to the season with three league defeats, a Carabao Cup exit and a public spat between Mourinho and midfielder Paul Pogba.
Last night, United drew 0-0 with Valencia in the Champions League.
That made it four games in a row at home which they have failed to win – the first time it has happened in Mourinho’s career.
And their poor form on the pitch comes amid a breakdown in his relationship with Pogba.
Pogba was stripped of his role as deputy captain by Mourinho last week after calling on United to attack more in home games.

The France World Cup winner was then rebuked in training by Mourinho about an Instagram video posted during their Carabao Cup tie with Derby last Tuesday.
And according to the Guardian, Mourinho feels he has been let down by the United board.
The report says Mourinho thinks the club should have backed him in his battle with Pogba and made clear “player power” will not be accepted.
Because this did not happen, Mourinho reckons it could be too late to quieten down the furore surrounding the club.
After United’s match with Valencia, Pogba issued a rallying call on Twitter saying: “Let’s keep fighting United #mufc.”
But reports suggest Pogba has been told not to speak to the media amid his row with Mourinho.
When asked to discuss the goalless Valencia match, Pogba reportedly said: “I’m not allowed to.”
Last Friday, Mourinho said no player was bigger than the club when discussing Pogba.
“He’s a player like the others; no player is bigger than the club and, if I’m happy with his work, he plays; if I’m not happy, he doesn’t play,” he said.
“I’m happy with his work this week, really happy – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday especially, because today was not so significant – but he trained really well.
“The team needs good players, players with personality to play; he has and he plays tomorrow. Manchester United is bigger than anyone and I have to defend that.”
