Today has seen a huge wave of new content added to Fortnite Battle Royale.
Fortnite Season 6 is now in full swing and has the usual assortment of skins and cosmetics to collect.
One of the big new features is Battle Buddies, a new item that was leaked before the launch of the new battle pass.
They come in a little backpack and are available to unlock through the season 6 battle pass.
The unique back blink is certainly a change from Season 5, but there’s something else that could prove more popular even than the new good boys in the game.
Players can now unlock the original music from the game.
And while it doesn’t sound like much, it’s something that fans have been wanting for some time.
There looks to be a total of three music packs that can be unlocked via the battle pass, each bringing its own remix.
It has been confirmed that these new music packs are only available to those who have the paid Battle Pass and will not be part of the free one.
By unlocking one of the new music packs, players can change the music which is played in the pre-match lobby and menu screens.
It’s certainly a nice touch and something that fans have been asking for, along with original skin access.
The latter might not be something that is as forthcoming, as Epic Games may have concerns about players trying to hide their skills behind a default skin.
There are three music packs to unlock, each being released at its own level in the battle pass.
So fans will need to reach level 13 to unlock the floss “squeaky clean” remix music.
This is followed by the Halloween packs being unlocked at level 33, another easily reachable goal.
For the grand prize, the OG remix music which a lot of fans will want, they will need to reach level 92.
This could make it a much rarer item as only the most dedicated fans will grind that much to reach that high.

“Then play to level up and earn up to 100 rewards worth over 25,000 V-Bucks. What’s new in Battle Pass Season 6?
“Pets! Level up your Battle Pass to unlock Bonesy, Scales, and Camo, new critters that will join you on your journey across the map. These passive companions are always by your side, reacting to different situations you find yourself in.
“Similar to previous Battle Passes, you’ll be able to complete Weekly Challenges to level up and earn rewards faster.
“Complete enough Weekly Challenges and you’ll uncover even more exclusive rewards.”
TIPS FOR NEW PLAYERS

Fortnite is better with friends – The best way to learn Fortnite is by playing with friends. Squad up and enjoy a game of 50v50 or Playground.
