Fortnite Season 6 SHOCK: Proof that Epic Games is in big trouble?

fans are gearing up for Season 6, which is tipped to begin in the next couple of weeks.

The upcoming Fortnite season will last until December, and will coincide with the release of one or two blockbusters.

With its Blackout Battle Royale mode, Black Ops 4 is just one of the games gunning for Fortnite’s crown.

And judging by the reaction to the Blackout Battle Royale beta, Fortnite could be in really big trouble during Season 6.

Express Online recently carried out a poll (below) asking if Blackout Battle Royale would be bigger than Fortnite.

More than 25,000 people have voted in the poll, which at the time of writing, is overwhelmingly in favour of Call of Duty.

Of the readers polled, 67% believe that Call of Duty’s new Blackout mode will be bigger than Fortnite.

With the Black Ops 4 release date pencilled in for October 12, Fortnite could have some real competition during Season 6.

The results of the poll aren’t likely to trouble Epic Games too much, especially with Fortnite experiencing a record-breaking month.

According to recent data, more than 78 million people played Fortnite across all platforms in August.

With the Android version about to exit beta, the number could rise even further in September.

That’s on top of the launch of the Season 6 Battle Pass is likely to give the game an even bigger financial boost.

Whether you’re a Fortnite fan or prefer Call of Duty’s Blackout mode, it’s an exciting time to be a Battle Royale fan.
