New iPhone revealed TOMORROW – Release, UK price, specs and what Apple fans should know

All eyes will be on tomorrow as the US technology firm reveals its new range of iPhones.

This is expected to be another huge announcement with a host of devices likely to be unveiled at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino.

Along with the iPhone upgrades, there could be plenty of surprises.

So, if you are a big fan of the Apple brand here’s everything you need to know about what could be revealed at Apple’s big September launch event.

WHAT TIME DOES THE iPHONE EVENT BEGIN?

Apple is hosting this year’s iPhone event at the iconic Steve Jobs Theatre which sits in the grounds of its Apple Park HQ in Cupertino.

Invites were sent out to media late last month with the words “Gather round”.

Proceedings will get underway at 10am local time with those in the UK able to watch from 6pm BST.

HOW CAN YOU WATCH THE EVENT?

Apple will be live streaming its iPhone event online via its website.

You can watch things from 6pm tomorrow by following this link

Those with an Apple TV can also tune in on the big screen via the Apple events app installed on the streaming device.

WHAT PHONES WILL BE ANNOUNCED?

There’s no official word on what Apple will reveal tomorrow but the rumours and leaks paint a pretty good picture of what’s to come.

We are expecting the US technology firm to announce three new devices including a larger 6.5-inch Xs Plus model and a device that will have less impressive specs but arrive at a cheaper price.

Apple is also likely to refresh its award-winning iPhone X with improved performance, better camera and faster charging all expected.

New colours could also be revealed including dark red and blue.

HOW MUCH WILL THESE iPHONES COST?

A new report from Macerkpof, that cited people familiar with Apple’s forthcoming pricing model, stated the cheaper iPhone model could come in at €799 (£713.59).

Meanwhile, it added the iPhone Xs will start at €909 (£811.84) and the iPhone Xs Max will retail for €1149 (£1026.18).

The article, first spotted by 9to5Mac, was presumably discussing starting models for each piece of hardware.

That means it is likely costs will be higher for variants with increased storage capacity.

But although Macerkpof insisted its sources were reliable and had been accurate about the costs of previous iPhones, it is still worth taking such claims with a pinch of salt.

WHAT ELSE WILL BE REVEALED?

It’s almost certain that Apple will use this September keynote to reveal a swathe of devices.

If rumours are correct, we may get to see a new Apple Watch unveiled tomorrow which may include a bigger screen, more power, extra battery life and improved fitness tracking.

Alongside this wearable could be the launch of a new iPad Pro model with this refreshed tablet offering one of the biggest upgrades in years.

It’s thought Apple could consider ditching the home button on this device with the screen then able to feature much smaller bezels.

The new iPad could also be faster and have improved battery life.

One final thing that could make an appearance at Apple’s event is the Air Power charging mat.

This wireless battery booster was first unveiled last year but Apple has since stayed silent about an official launch.

Express.co.uk will be bringing you all the news live as it happens from Cupertino.
