Mourinho has also reportedly had disagreements with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward over a lack of transfer activity during the summer.

Eric Bailly started the first two games but was dropped following a poor performance in defeat to Brighton.
It’s led to questions being raised over the future of the Ivory Coast international with the Metro reporting that Bailly is unsure whether he will stay at the club for the long-term.
It’s claimed that Bailly is a ‘popular figure’ in the United dressing room and a departure could upset some players at United.
The former Villareal man will reportedly assess his options in January with Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Lindelof also available to Mourinho.
Following a failed pursuit of Leicester and England star Maguire though, the centre-back has revealed why he chose not to move to Manchester United.
“I spoke with Leicester after a bit of interest from clubs, and they reiterated that I wasn’t for sale and I respected that decision,” Maguire said.
“They gave me an opportunity to play in the Premier League, when I had just been relegated with Hull.
“They gave me that opportunity and it is a club I am really enjoying my time at. I am playing week-in and week-out, which is important to me.
“They have given me the platform to play at the World Cup, so I feel I owe them and I respect that decision.
“Now I am looking forward to the season.”
