For those wanting to get right into the action, EA and DICE have provided the perfect way to do so.
You can expect that the Battlefield 5 open beta will likely have a lot of people interested and will, therefore, see a lot of downloads.
This initial influx will cause some slowdown for those trying to get the beta build on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
However, to avoid these queues, players can take action right now and pre-load the Battlefield 5 open beta.
This will mean that when the servers go live later, you can be ready to join in on the action right away.

WHEN DOES THE OPEN BETA START?
The Battlefield 5 open beta begins a little later this week, on Thursday, September 6.
It’s scheduled to start at around 9am in the morning and will continue until 3pm on September 11.
That’s a lot of time to test things out, with EA And Dice already confirming that there will be plenty of content available.
When it comes to playable maps and modes, Dice says there will be a choice of the Rotterdam and Arctic Fjord maps.
There will also be two playable modes, that of Conquest and Grand Operations (Day 1 and 2).
Fans will also be able to earn the Tides of War Dog Tag during the Open Beta, which will be available through the assignment menu.
Here’s more on some of the weapons and vehicles that will be part of this week’s beta action:
“Five iconic WW2 tanks and seven aircraft will be at your disposal in the Battlefield V Open Beta,” Dice adds.
“Deploy as a Tanker and bring the big guns to the fight – including the Valentine Mk VIII, Churchill Mk VII, Churchill Gun Carrier, Panzer IV, and the Tiger I.
“If you prefer soaring through the skies, support your team from above in the Spitfire Mk VA, Spitfire Mk VB, Blenheim Mk IF, Bf 109 G-2, Ju 87 Stuka B-2, Ju 87 Stuka B-1, and the C47.
“In addition to this, you’ll be able to fend off flying foes with stationary and towable AA Guns. Tanks giving you trouble? Use the Anti-Tank Guns, also stationary or towable.
“A Squad Leader who’s collected enough Squad Points will get the thrilling opportunity to unleash the powerful Reinforcements.
“If you played any of the Closed Alphas, you’ll recognise the terrifying sight of the two heavy tanks: the British Churchill Crocodile and the German Sturmtiger.”
