Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel will be inspired by action films from that period.
Speaking with Total Film, producer Kevin Feige said: “There are definitely homages to our favourite 90s action films.
“Much of the movie takes place in outer space,” he said, but Earth scenes take inspiration from Terminator 2.
Hosted by Entertainment Weekly many fans and some outlets reckon it could be the first Captain Marvel trailer, although we’re not so convinced.

Captain Marvel will also join the survivors in Avengers 4 in the fight against Thanos.
And after that she’s expected to lead the new generation into Marvel Phase 4.
Presumably she’ll be something of a figurehead for the series like Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man.
Captain Marvel is released in UK cinemas on March 8, 2019.
