Charles Venn net worth: Strictly Come Dancing 2018 star worth this shocking amount

Charles Venn, 45, has joined the line-up of Strictly Come Dancing 2018.

The London-born actor, formerly known by the stage names Chucky Venice and Chucky Venn, rose to fame playing Ray Dixon in Eastenders and Jacob Masters in Casualty.

He is also known for his roles as Curtis Alexander in Sky One’s Dream Team and Tremaine Gidigbi in Footballers’ Wives.

Adding dancing to his CV, Charles will make his Strictly debut in the show tonight. With a career spanning 17 years, how much is he worth?

Charles Venn grew up in London on a tough inner-city estate, going on to attend Hammersmith and West London College to study performing arts.

Following his education he starred in a variety of roles as a small-time actor, using the surname Venice.

It wasn’t until 2003 that he got his big break, being cast in the football drama Dream Team on Sky One.

Just three years later he made his movie debut landing a role in the horror film Return to House on Haunted Hill, going on to appear in Bourne Ultimatum and The Dark Night.

His career went from strength-to-strength, landing the role of Ray Dixon in the BBC One soap Eastenders in 2011, appearing in the series from January 2012.

He left the show two years later, but that didn’t stop him racking up a staggering net worth of $11 million (£8.5 million), according to NetWorthPost.org.

After leaving Eastenders, Charles landed a role in Casualty and has participated in And They’re Off! in aid of Sport Relief.

Last month he was announced as the fourteenth celebrity to join Strictly Come Dancing 2018.

After being announced, he said: “It truly is a pleasure to be a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, to be associated with a show that has such a huge following excites and scares me in equal measure!

“Dancing on Strictly is going to be quite a challenge but life’s all about testing yourself so there’s lots to look forward to, let the games begin.”

Talking about the show, Charles told the BBC: “Some of the costumes certainly do not leave much to the imagination, but they mostly look good I feel.

“I’ll definitely have to do more sit-ups though, just to fit in them!”

Another celebrity appearing on Strictly Come Dancing 2018 is Susannah Constantine.

Susannah Constantine is a British fashion journalist, television personality and author, best known for being one half of TV duo Trinny and Susannah.

The two hosted the BBC Two series What Not to Wear from 2001 to 2005, having previously written columns together and a fashion advice book.

Born into a wealthy family and in the spotlight since 1994, Susannah is now worth a pretty penny.
