That is according to UFC lightweight contender Kevin Lee.
The grudge match between McGregor and Khabib is the main event at UFC 229 on October 7 (UK time) at the T-Mobile Arena.
McGregor became the first simultaneous two-weight UFC world champion in November 2016 when he knocked out Eddie Alvarez to claim the Lightweight Championship, adding to his Featherweight belt.
The Irishman hasn’t fought since then, however, and was stripped of his titles while he had a long lay-off from the sport.
In his two-year absence, ‘Notorious’ fought Floyd Mayweather Jr in a mega-money boxing match in August 2017, which he lost via TKO.
Khabib took McGregor’s vacant title in that time and has a perfect record (26-0 MMA, 10-0 UFC), but former No 1 lightweight contender Kevin Lee can’t see the Russian maintaining his 0.
“I think Conor’s probably going to sleep him,” Lee told MMAjunkie Radio.
“I’m just looking at the matchup and how the styles is, and especially with someone like Khabib.
“Khabib’s just got the same holes that I’ve been seeing for years and years and years. And I know Conor’s been seeing them, too.
“So, when you see those holes, and they’re not getting at least a little closed, then he’s going to get slept.”
Khabib has been criticised before for his exposed chin, which was visible during his unanimous decision victory over Al Iaquinta at UFC 223.
Wrestling McGregor on the ground represents his best chance of victory, but Lee continued: “Khabib misses a lot of shots, too.
“(If) you look at his film, his actual stand-up wrestling and transition game is trash.”
