The Chinese tech giant released the flagship Android device back in March to huge critical acclaim.
Express.co.uk awarded the Huawei P20 Pro top marks as we lauded the “stunning flagship.”
And the critical acclaim has also been mirrored by commercial success with Huawei revealing some big sales numbers for the P20 Pro.
In the first five months on sale the Huawei P20 Pro and the P20 have sold a hugely impressive 10million units worldwide.
Huawei described passing the 10million sales marker for the P20 Pro and P20 as a “remarkable milestone”.

Kevin Ho, President of Handset Business at the Huawei Consumer Business Group, said: “We are humbled by the reception of our latest flagships among global consumers.
“By going above the 10million mark, we have again set ourselves a high bar to clear, but we will treat it as a symbol of encouragement that will fuel us as we continue doing what we do best—putting cutting-edge innovations into the hands of consumers around the world.”
The news comes after earlier this month the European Image and Sound Association handed a big award to the Huawei P20 Pro.
They named the flagship as the EISA Best Smartphone 2018-2019 and said it’s “the most advanced, innovative and technically superior smartphone ever.”
While at IFA 2018 Huawei also unveiled the Morpho Aurora and Pearl White variants of the P20 Series.
The Huawei P20 Pro is the first smartphone to boast a triple camera setup and features a 6.1-inch OLED notched display and a monster 4,000 mAh battery.
In the Express.co.uk review of the Huawei P20 Pro we awarded it a full five out of five rating.
We said: “Huawei has been making smartphones for years but nothing has grabbed our attention quite like the P20 Pro.
“This flagship easily keeps pace with the competition and in many ways it actually outclasses its rivals.
“The triple camera is fabulous, it looks great and that battery life is so impressive other manufacturers should be embarrassed about their lacklustre performance.
“We also like the fact that Huawei has managed to keep the fingerprint scanner on the front of the phone which makes it far easier to use.
“There are a few niggles including Huawei’s insistence of meddling too much with the Android OS.
“The missing headphone port, very high price and omission of wireless charging are also negatives that may annoy some owners.
“However, these faults can’t overshadow what is otherwise a truly fabulous phone.
“If Huawei was trying to make everyone sit up and take notice it’s certainly achieved that.
“The P20 Pro is up there with the best of them and we wouldn’t be surprised if Huawei’s trophy cabinet isn’t full with awards by the end of 2018.”
