Fortite Shop TODAY: New season 5 leaked skins in September update

Fans now have a few short days to grab the latest Fortnite skins released today by Epic Games.

A new wave of season outfits and cosmetics are slowly released by the development team, with the latest providing a real hippy-feel to proceedings.

These new Flower Power designs can be found in the Fortnite Shop and come with their own hefty V-Bucks price tag.

Unlike with past weekends, these new skins are only ranked as Epic, meaning they don’t cost as much to buy as the Legendary kind.

The two news skins leaked with a bunch of other season 5 designs earlier this year, a practice which has become commonplace in 2018.

Many of these skins have now appeared in the item shop, although fans can expect a steady stream of new content over the coming weeks.

One of the first new designs that were made available during season 5 was the Viking Magnus skin.

This was followed by the legendary Chomp Snr skin, as well as many unique axe designs from Epic Games.

Due to it being ranked in the highest rarity category, the Chomp Snr and Magnus outfits cost a hefty 2,000 V-Bucks each.

However, both the Dreamflower and Far Out Man skins are of the Epic rank, meaning they will cost 1,500 V-bucks to buy.

But while the new outfits are sure to prove popular with those hoping to stock up on spooky new season 5 skins, other items could be even more sought-after.

That’s because fans can also snap up the new Drumbeat harvesting tool, fitting in nicely with rest of the Ravage attire.

Not to be outdone, there is also a Tie-Dye Flyer that can complete the 60s vibe, all across the island.

The new Drumbeat item costs 500 V-Bucks to buy, while the Tie-Die is a pricier buy at 800 V-Bucks.

Fortnite fans can also pick up the recently launched Llama Bell emote for 800 V-Bucks, another in a long line of optional add-ons from Epic Games.

These new Fortnite season 5 skins and gear will be available over the next day before being replaced by more content from Epic Games.

As the development team notes whenever selling cosmetic items, this new gear will not provide any kind of bonus during a Battle Royale game.

They are purely cosmetic, so fans shouldn’t worry about spending cash in Fortnite unless they want to earn or buy new gear for their character.

The Tier 100 items will be the ones everyone will want to get their hands on, although that will take some dedication when it comes to completing weekly challenges.

The challenges are separated into hard and regular tiers of difficulty.

The hard difficulty Fortnite challenges net players ten Battle Stars, while the regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.

Unlocking Battle Stars levels up your Battle Pass, which is how you unlock all the rewards on offer.

Season 5 also features bonus challenges that will net players specific items. The Road Trip challenges are similar to Blockbuster challenges from Season 4.

The Road Trip tier rewards players with special loading screens for fully completing all weekly challenges. These loading screens feature hidden Battle Star clues.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a free downloadable game currently available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Mac and Mobile iOS.
