Mourinho at Liverpool claim
Jose Mourinho could never manage Liverpool, however, Jurgen Klopp would shine at Manchester United, Steve McMahon claims.
When asked if he agreed with Mourinho’s comments about being the best in the business, McMahon told The Debate on Sky Sports: “Presently, no. Absolutely not.
“He was magnificent when he first came into the Premier League and he was successful, but all of a sudden it’s become about him.
“Every conversation in the last 10 days has been ‘me, me, me’ and that’s the first sign of insecurity.
“The pressure that he has from the new type of managers like Klopp and Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino. He can’t stand the heat.

“He is clearly not the best manager right now. Guardiola is, then it’s Klopp.
“Could Klopp manage Manchester United right now? 100 per cent.
“Could Mourinho manage Liverpool? Not in a million years.”
Klopp slams Mignolet
Jurgen Klopp has slammed Simon Mignolet for going behind his back with an explosive interview regarding his future at the club.
The Belgium international called it “strange” that Loris Karius was allowed to leave instead of him.
“In general, discussing your individual problems in public doesn’t make too much sense, it’s better you speak to each other,” said Klopp. “But it was still okay. He’s a human being.
“If you want to say something, say it to me directly than to a newspaper. He’s on pretty good pay at Liverpool by the way.”
Salah struggles?
Jurgen Klopp is adamant Mohamed Salah is far too smart to fall into second-season syndrome.
“Mo is a very smart person,” he said.
“He’s not thinking about the end of last season, he knows our game here, he knows he had no number in his mind or thought, ‘Okay, let me score a new record’.
“It was only ever, ‘Let’s score goals, let’s play football’.
“And to me he looks he is exactly in that mood again, only with more confidence because now he knows it’s possible.
“He’s not a kid any more and he doesn’t expect that everything will be like this all the time.
“If it is not like that any more, then he will dig deep. He is completely settled.”
Salah netted 46 goals for club and country last season as the Egypt international won the Premier League Golden Boot.
