Germany oil refinery EXPLOSION: Blast sparks HUGE fire – eight injured and 2,000 evacuated

Pictures show thick smoke billowing from the burning building following the explosion, with fire engines at the scene.

Some 200 firefighters are reported to be tackling the blaze.

The Bayernoil refinery is near the city of Ingolstadt and residents living in Vohburg and Irsching have been evacuated.
