More and more celebrities use the platform as a way to keep their fans up to date with their daily lives.

How do you sign up to Instagram?
Having an Instagram account enables you to follow your friends, family and favourite celebrities.
To create an account you either need to download the app from the app store on your smartphone, or visit https://www.instagram.com/.
From there you will see the option to log in – which you can do if you already have an account – or create an account.
To sign up to Instagram you will need to input either your mobile number or email, as well as your full name.
You also need to come up with a unique username so that your friends can find you – and a secure password.
From there, once you click ‘Next’ you will have created your account.
Once you have an account you can then upload your own images.
Instagram features several ways to do this – either via a story which lasts for 24 hours or onto your profile directly which makes an image or video permanent.
You can also add filters to your images, to make them look professional.
Another feature is that you can message other users.
This can be simple text chat or if you have seen an image you think they will like, you can send it directly to them.
You can also link your Instagram account to your Facebook profile so that your Facebook friends can find you, as well as making you able to share Instagram photos to Facebook.
To do this you can go to your settings on Instagram, scroll down to ‘Linked Accounts’ and add your Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr accounts.
Just click on the social media icon you want to link and follow the on-screen instructions.
