Asian Games 2018 medal table: How many medals has each country won?

This is the 18th edition of the Asian Games and is being hosted in two Indonesia cities – Jakarta and Palembang.

China and Bahrain finished with 12 gold medals each at the end of the athletics programme in Jakarta on Thursday.

China is at the top of the medal tally on day 13 of the 18th Asian Games with 112 gold medals and 241 medals in total.

India added five medals to their tally to take the medal count to 59 in Jakarta on Thursday.

India’s women won gold in the 4x400m relay event, comprising of Hima Das, Saritaben Laxmanbhai Gayakwad, Poovamma Raju Machettira and Vismaya Velluva Koroth.

This was India’s fifth gold medal in a row in the women’s 4x400m relay, Bahrain won silver while Vietnam took bronze.

Bahrain claimed its 10th gold medal of the meet after winning the women’s 4×100 metres relay.

Iman Essa, Edidiong Odiong, Hajar Alkhaldi and Salwa Naser combined to cross the line in 42.73 seconds, a new Games record.
