Fortnite cube is a live event going on in Battle Royale at the moment which has sparked plenty of mystery amongst players.
The Fortnite cube appeared in the Battle Royale map on Friday in the spot that lightning from the Rift was hitting.
When the Fortnite cube spawned on the Battle Royale map it also closed the Rift in the sky, and since then it has been on the move.
The Fortnite cube first appeared in Paradise Palms and has since been moving every one hour and 43 minutes, according to a post by Fortnite Intel.
Where it is moving to in Fortnite remains a mystery, but it’s expected that the Fortnite cube will ‘turn on’ once it reaches its final destination.
Right now the Fortnite cube can be found just outside of Salty Springs in square F7 on the Battle Royale map.
It was expected that something big was going to happen in Fortnite Battle Royale on Monday related to the Fortnite cube.
The Fortnite Leakage Twitter account had predicted something big could have happened with the Fortnite cube on Monday.

On Sunday the Fortnite leakers tweeted: “The cube will move 6 or so more times and then move to some lake (maybe loot lake?) and then should “turn on”.
“Turning on might refer to it initially spawning but I’d hope its more interesting than that.”
They later added: “Really odd how the cube is moving so much. “Lake” by definition means large so it probably will end up at Loot Lake and then “turn on” there.
“The 7 “Move” events are what really confuse me.
“We’ll also most likely see something happen at 2 PM Eastern tomorrow (the Tomato Event).”

However, that came and passed and the Fortnite cube is still on the Battle Royale map and hasn’t opened up yet.
The Fortnite Leakage Twitter account later tweeted: “Pretty weird nothing happened since the date was in the API before there was a corresponding “start” date added to it”.
While the Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks Twitter account posted: “Did anything happen? It’s 18:32 UTC, Did Fortnite yeet us again?”
It’s rumoured that once the Fortnite cube stops moving it could cause some big map changes in Fortnite Battle Royale.

The latest theory is that a new Crazy Castle point of interest could appear in Fortnite once the Fortnite cube becomes active.
This comes after the official Fortnite Twitter account recently teased the new Capoeira emote.
But in the background of the video Fortnite players were able to make out what looks like a new location where the Villain Lair should be.

And while the location was far out, Fortnite players are convinced that they have spotted a castle in the emote promo video.
Adding further weight to this theory is a spray that has been spotted in the Battle Pass called ‘Crazy Castle’.
All this evidence of a new castle location was pooled together in posts by Twitter user ShiinaBR.

They tweeted: “In the Capoeira showcase video from the Fortnite account, we can see that several map changes.
“First of all the viking village is gone. The villain lair is gone, too.
“But the most interesting thing here: A castle has appeared next to pleasant park!”

ShiinaBR added: “We’ll most likely see those map changes in the next 2 weeks.
“(Thanks to /u/lepracs on reddit for noticing!)”
Could this brand new location appear on the Fortnite Battle Royale map once the cube finally stops moving and activates?
ShiinaBR said the map changes should come in the next two weeks, so it could be awhile yet until the Fortnite cube stops moving and activates at last.
