Fortnite content update 5.30 patch notes have been revealed today with the new shockwave grenade and the return of the Solid Gold LTM the big additions for Battle Royale.
The latest Fortnite content update comes after the major release of update 5.30 which brought with it the brand new Tomato Temple location.
Fortnite patch notes for content update 5.30 have revealed today’s download adds the shockwave grenade to Battle Royale and sees the return of the Solid Gold LTM.
The official Fortnite Twitter account revealed yesterday that Fortnite content update 5.30 was inbound and required no server downtime.
They tweeted: “Bounce into action in the v5.30 Content Update! Available tomorrow, August 28 at 8:00 AM ET (1200 GMT). There will be no downtime.”

The Fortnite Twitter also revealed that the Score Royale LTM was getting swapped out of Battle Royale, with it revealed today that the Solid Gold LTM is replacing it.
On Monday they posted: “The Score Royale LTM goes away soon so today’s the last day to earn the highest score and get that Victory!”

WEAPONS + ITEMS
Shockwave Grenade added.
Shockwave Grenade will knock players back and destroy objects in their path after being knocked back.
Allies, enemies, and vehicles hit with Shockwave Grenade will not take fall damage.
Drops in stacks of 2, maximum stack size of 6.
Epic Rarity.
Can be found in Supply Drops, Vending Machines, Llamas, and chests.

Kunai Collection: Eliminating enemies with Kunai Storm reduces its cooldown by 2 seconds.
Kunai Barrage: Increase the number of kunai thrown from Kunai Storm by 6 and damage by 25%.
Kunnaihilation: Kunai will now randomly explode and deal Energy Damage in a 0.25 tile radius.
