Man Utd in CHAOS as Mino Raiola lets rip at Scholes in STUNNING outburst over Paul Pogba

The former midfielder has been extremely critical of the Frenchman this year, most recently lambasting Pogba’s performance at Brighton on Sunday.

Speaking on Optus Sport, Scholes said: “There’s a lack of leaders in the team. We thought Paul Pogba might be the ideal candidate to be that leader but he wasn’t there today.

“He had another really poor game. He’s so inconsistent.”

But now Pogba’s super-agent Raiola has hit back at the Manchester United hero on social media, directing two separate tweets at Scholes on Tuesday morning.

“Some people need to talk for fear of being forgotten,” he tweeted.

“Paul Scholes wouldn’t recognise a leader if he was in front of Sir Winston Churchill. @paulpogba.

“Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba.

“Would be sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club @paulpogba.”

Gary Neville also took to Twitter this morning, making his feelings very clear about Raiola’s comments.

“Let’s hope @paulpogba leads his agent and shuts him up!” he tweeted.

Much has been made of Pogba’s reported falling out with United boss Jose Mourinho recently.

The World Cup winner failed to see eye-to-eye with the Portuguese coach at times last season after repeatedly being dropped for important clashes.

The Pogba/Mourinho row appears to have rolled over into this season as well.

After the opening game of the campaign, United’s all-time most expensive player dropped hints that all was still not well between the duo, insisting he would ‘be fined’ if he revealed the truth about his situation.

Pogba was more to the point after Sunday’s 3-2 defeat to Brighton. He said: “My attitude was not right. It has to be a big lesson for us.

“They had more hunger than us. I put myself first, that my attitude wasn’t right enough.

“We made mistakes we shouldn’t make.

“We tried to push and push, we kept trying, but it was a bit too late.

“We were playing at home last week and that’s different.

“Different teams, different tactics. I know you cannot always play very very good.

“The attitude always has to be very good and we missed that.”
