There could be a very busy month ahead for Apple.
It already seems almost certain that the US technology firm will lift the lid on new iPhones in September and these could be joined by an updated smartwatch.
Rumours have been rife that the US technology firm is planning an update to its popular Apple Watch with a new design, improved battery life and better fitness features all thought to be inbound.
A bigger display is also likely with Apple reducing the bezels to give users more screen space without increasing the overall size of the device itself.
Although these updates haven’t been confirmed there is one piece of news which may reveal a launch is imminent.
According to 9to5mac, Apple has recently registered new Watch models with the Eurasian economic database.
A total of six models have been listed although, other than some unique model numbers and the fact they’ll be running watchOS 5, no other details have currently been released.
In past years Apple has nearly always launched devices soon after making these model numbers public.
Just recently they listed new MacBook’s with the same database and a few weeks later the refreshed Pro models were unveiled.
This timing would make perfect sense with the US technology firm expected to lift the lid on its new devices in mid-September.
Express.co.uk recently revealed our thoughts on when Apple’s event will take place with September 12th looking most likely.
The yearly keynote always takes place around this time and 2018 could be a major event with new watches, iPad and three iPhones all possibilities.
Rumours suggest that the current iPhone X will get a big refresh with a faster processor, more memory and improved facial recognition technology.
Alongside this rebooted phone, Apple may also launch two new devices with a larger X Plus and lower-priced model both expected.
The bigger device could get a giant 6.5-inch OLED display which will cover almost the entire front of the phone.
If that sounds like it’s going to be too much to handle then the new ‘budget’ iPhone may be the device to watch out for.
Rumours claim Apple is working on an all-screen phone that will land in pockets with a much more affordable price.
The cost-cutting will come by only including an LCD display and single rear camera.
Other new features arriving in September could include more colour options and a fast charger supplied in the box which will boost the smartphone’s battery in minutes.
Along with new hardware, Apple will be announcing when its updated software will arrive on devices with the iPhone, Apple Watch and MacBooks all set for some big new features.
