The Cupertino-based tech giant traditionally picks September as its month to show off its latest and greatest smartphones, and this year is presumed to be no different.

In fact, Express.co.uk has predicted Apple will announce brand new iPhone models on September 12th.

Rumours have declared Apple is planning the release of three new iPhones – one is alleged to be a direct successor to the current iPhone X while the second is set to be a larger iPhone X model that could potentially be called the iPhone X Plus.

The third iteration could boast an iPhone X-style design but come in at a lower price point.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

With that said, here is what each iPhone model could look like, its features and where it will stand in Apple’s forthcoming product lineup.

iPhone X 2018

The direct successor to the iPhone X will see more of an internal refresh than an aesthetic one.

Prominent YouTuber Marques Brownlee recently showed off alleged models of the next set of iPhones and it appears the next iPhone X will look very much the same as last year.

However, Apple will presumably throw an A12 Bionic chip inside the hardware to allow for greatly-improved performance.

The device could also be set for more RAM if a new report from a market intelligence firm is to believed.

TrendForce insisted the new iPhone X will come with 4GB of RAM that would mark a 1GB increase over last year’s flagship.

The company added the device will keep the same 5.8-inch screen and be available in three storage options.

In addition to a 64GB and 256GB variant, the firm declared a new 512GB storage option will be made available.

This could mean Apple is set to challenge one of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s most appealing features.

The new phablet was recently unveiled by the South Korean tech giant in New York City.

During the debut, Samsung was keen to tout the monstrous amounts of storage as one of the reasons to pick up the hardware.

It is currently unknown whether Apple will radically alter the current display quality of the new iPhone X.

However, the device will presumably see camera improvements, although the device is expected to keep a dual-lens setup.

TrendForce predicted the hardware will start at around $899 (£707) and $949 (£747).

iPhone X Plus 2018

Apple is expected to debut the biggest screen ever on an iPhone later this year with the introduction of a bigger X model.

In his video showing off the supposed prototypes for the bigger iPhone, Marques Brownlee revealed what he claimed was a unit with a colossal 6.5-inch panel.

The device essentially looks like a larger version of the current iPhone X with Apple’s facial recognition technology sitting at the top of the hardware and extremely minimal bezels around the side.

Because of the increased screen size, the phone is also expected to be slightly wider than the current iPhone X model.

However, it is currently unknown what resolution and pixel density the iPhone X Plus will have in relation to the smaller iPhone X.

But the device could come with the same internals as its little brother, according to the report from TrendFroce.

The market intelligence firm emphasised the bigger device will also come with 4GB of RAM and be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB variants.

It is unknown if the larger iPhone X will have any exclusive features not present in other iPhone models.

The phone will be limited within the $1,000 (£787) “threshold as to encourage purchasing from consumers”, according to TrendForce.

The cheaper iPhone X model

It is currently unclear what Apple’s alleged forthcoming cheaper iPhone X model will be called.

However many have insisted the phone will use an LCD display instead of the current iPhone X’s OLED.

Such a move would presumably be made to help Apple keep down manufacturing costs.

In his video showing off an alleged prototype of the phone, Marques Brownlee noted the device could also come with only one camera on its rear.

Moreover, the phone also measured up to sit in the middle of its more premium brothers.

The cheaper iPhone will reportedly arrive with a 6.1-inch display.

TrendForce insisted the device will come with 3GB of RAM instead of the 4GB presumed to be featured inside the next iPhone X and iPhone X Plus.

The entry will only be available in 64GB and 256GB variants and be priced between $699 (£550) and $749 (£589), it added.

Apple’s cheaper iPhone model also looks set to arrive in a variety of different colours.

Last month a report from Macotakara suggested the hardware could come in white, black, flash yellow, bright orange, electric blue and taupe variants.
