Apple fans may have less than a month before they get to see what’s next for the popular iPhone brand.
Rumours are rife that the US technology firm is going to launch a trio of devices in September which will not only bring a larger device to pockets but also one that’s a whole lot cheaper.
Although not confirmed, it’s thought that Apple will introduce three news iPhones next month including an upgraded iPhone X, a larger iPhone X Plus and a new all-screen phone which will arrive at a more affordable price.
This cheaper call maker could bring Apple’s stunning X design but feature an LCD display and single rear camera rather than the current OLED screen and dual-lens snapper found on the more expensive flagship.
Other new extras could include a much faster processor, better facial recognition and more colours.

There’s also plenty of reports that suggest Apple will finally include a fast charger in the box which will boost the iPhone’s battery in a matter of minutes.
We’ll hopefully find out more next month but new research is already speculating that, whatever Apple launches, it’s going to be record-breaking year for the iPhone.
According to Statista, the US technology firm is on track to make the most revenue ever from its iPhone brand.
The report states that “through the first three quarters of Apple’s fiscal 2018 (which ends September 29), the company’s iPhone revenue amounted to a whopping $129.5 billion, beating the previous nine-months record of $122.8 billion dating back to 2015.”
With new devices on the horizon, these earnings look set to be boosted even further and increase the pressure on Apple’s Android rivals.
Samsung has recently confirmed that sales of its S9 haven’t been as good as expected.
In an earnings report published on their website Samsung said: “Amid the stagnant high-end smartphone market, the IT & Mobile Communications Division reported a drop in earnings, both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter, over slow sales of the Galaxy S9.
“The network business, however, achieved solid growth led by investments in LTE networks by key global customers.”
Although Apple’s revenue is strong the firm has recently been overtaken by Chinese firm Huawei.
The new P20 Pro has helped the huge Chinese firm overtake Apple as the second-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world – Samsung is still the largest.
The triple camera packing P20 Pro from the company was credited for helping achieve the lofty feat.
Gerrit Schneemann, an IHS Markit analyst, said: “Huawei is shifting to more value-added models, by launching new flagship smartphones with the latest features.
“Huawei’s P20 Pro is the first flagship smartphone model to be equipped with triple cameras, beating competitors to market.”
China’s smartphone market easing was also mentioned for helping Huawei achieve meteoric success.
