Princess Eugenie will wear this tiara with special meaning on her wedding day expert says

Princess Eugenie is the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, 92, as the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew, 58.

As such she is given the royal title and the honour of wearing a royal tiara on her wedding day.

Likely to be borrowing a piece from her grandmother, Eugenie has access to a host of stunning pieces.

She also has access to a tiara in her mother’s private collection. So what tiara will she choose to wear?

Princess Eugenie has never worn a tiara in public before, although it is expect that she will – as most royal brides tend to do.

Meghan Markle wore the Queen Mary’s Lozenge Bandeau tiara.

The Queen Mary’s Lozenge Bandeau is an art deco style tiara. It belonged to Princess Mary, and has been worn by Princess Margaret.

The Diamond Tiara hadn’t been seen since it was last worn by Princess Margaret in 1965 until Meghan’s wedding day in May.

Kate Middleton’s wedding tiara was the Cartier Halo Tiara, beforehand referred to as the Scroll Tiara.

A fashion expert has predicted that Princess Eugenie’s wedding dress will be “very different” to what Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle wore for their weddings.

Anna Mewes, personal stylist and image consultant, told Express.co.uk: “Princess Eugenie is known for breaking Royal traditions when it comes to dressing and I imagine she will do the same when it comes to her wedding dress.

“I expect her dress will be very different to the styles Kate and Meghan chose for their own weddings.”

Now Anna has predicted that Princess Eugenie will wear her mother’s tiara.

She said: “She will almost certainly wear a tiara and I think it would be a lovely touch if she opted for the same one her mother wore for her wedding to the Duke of York.”

Sarah Ferguson’s tiara was a gift from the Queen for her wedding day to Prince Andrew.

The tiara, from Garrad, the same designer who created Sarah Ferguson’s engagement ring, was part of a demi-parure.

A demi-parure is a set of jewellery with typically three pieces, and this one had a necklace, earrings, and a bracelet.

Princess Eugenie could also wear one of the Queen Mother’s tiaras

There are three main tiaras associated with the Queen Mother, who was born Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon.
