Avengers 4 Hulk SHOCK: Is this the END for Bruce Banner? ‘Hulk doesn’t need him’

Joe and Anthony Russo have given a major new look at every important Avenger in a new video.

Much of it simply recaps what has come so far but there are also hints of what comes next in Avengers 4.

One of the biggest revelations comes when they are discussing Hulk and Bruce Banner. It seems fans have not realised quite how bad the situation has become and what Hulk’s dark plans are for his human.

Hulk isn’t just refusing to co-operate, he has much darker plans for Bruce.

The inner battle between the two was almost played for laughs in Infinity War, as Tony Stark made fun of his friend’s performance issues.

However, Hulk is incredibly powerful and presumably essential to the Avengers’ plans in the sequel.

Even worse, it seems he has finally had enough of Bruce and the directors reveal this could effectively signal the end for Bruce.

Joe Russo told Wired: “The Hulk is in a very interesting place in Infinity War. He and Banner have been at odds over who controls the host body since we first met Bruce Banner. It’s a Jeckyl and Hyde relationship. They grow at turns weary with one another.”

“Hulk refuses to help Banner because he believes Banner only uses Hulk to solve problems.

“Hulk, I think, is starting perceive himself as the one who should control the host body because he doesn’t feel that Banner brings an awful lot to the table.”

Fans already saw Hulk in control during Thor Ragnarok for a long period of time. It looks like he wants that control back and this means pushing Bruce out of the way.

Even more worrying is the recent storyline in the Civil War II comics which saw Banner killed but Hulk survive.

Back in 2016, Marvel actually killed off Bruce Banner in the third issue of Civil War II.

The scientist was killed by an arrow to the head from Hawkeye, his Avengers teammate, who believed he was about to Hulk-out and cause terrible destruction. However, Banner had been medicating himself to keep Hulk on lockdown but it backfired, since Hulk found a Korean-American teenage genius named Amadeus Cho to be his new alter-ego.

The first official artwork for Avengers 4 also showed a different Hulk alongside all the Avengers. He looked more human, leading many to believe he wil become the Professor Hulk persona which supplants Bruce Banner’s control of the body.

One thing is very sure, there will be more losses in Avengers 4.
