World of Warcraft expansion: How to hit level 120 in World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth

Blizzard has finally released the new major expansion for World of Warcraft, Battle for Azeroth.

Bringing in several new races, regions and even an extended level cap, new and returning players have plenty to get their teeth into with the new WoW update.

Blizzard has increased the level cap to 120, tasking players with a huge number of quests to be as powerful as possible.

Hitting the level cap will allow you to explore the Battle for Azeroth’s massive list of endgame content, so here is a guide on how to level up quickly in Wow.

How to hit level 120 in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth

The first and most obvious thing you need to do is start playing World of Warcraft and get used to the mechanics.

If you are a new or casual player, the mechanics of the game are daunting, so spend some time to get used to the classes, the lore and what you have to do.

Ideally, you will need to already be at level 110 to see the best results from the Battle of Azeroth.

You can buy a bundle edition of World of Warcraft which gives you a free month of gameplay, all six WoW expansions and a one-character level 110 boost to help you get ready for the new content.

To start the new Battle for Azeroth content, you will need to have completed the War of Thorns content and then go to Silithus to speak to Magni and collect your first quest.

Make sure you tailor your own play style to ranking up quickly, as you will need to be able to plow through multiple enemies quickly without dying.

Spec your character to ensure you have high damage output across a group of enemies, as well as sustainability to keep you alive.

Polygon recommends you get yourself a pet to draw aggro off you so that you can dish out the damage.

Polygon also completed a fairly thorough list of which zones to tackle first for both the Horde and the Alliance.

They recommend tackling Vol’Dun first, with Nazmir and Zuldazar second and third if you are with the Horde, and Drustvar first, with Tiragarde Sound and Stormsong Valley second and third.

Their reasoning behind it is that you should complete the more difficult zones first to make the most of any Legendary items you may have collected, while also catapulting level higher for the shorter and easier zones to help you plow through them faster.

One of the best ways to level up is to complete quests with friends to help mitigate any of the more dangerous sections of the game.

Having a good tank or support to assist you in your damage capabilities can be a surefire way to power through the ranks and get to level 120 in no time.
