Fred joined United earlier this summer in a £47million move from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Brazilian international made his Red Devils bow in their Premier League opener against former champions Leicester on Friday evening.
And in a brilliant display of unity from Jose Mourinho’s stars, a number of players were seen giving the new boy plenty of encouragement on his debut.
In United’s ‘tunnel cam’ video, midfielder Juan Mata was seen catching up with Fred before the warm-up.
The Spaniard was seen putting his arm around the 25-year-old whispering some words of advice before they walked out for the warm-up.

Eric Bailly then gave his new team-mate a big hug before match skipper Paul Pogba was seen throwing an arm around the new No 17 as they walked out the tunnel.
And unsurprisingly, fans absolutely loved the players’ actions towards their new team-mate.
“Love how everyone was looking after Fred. Great team spirit,” one fan wrote.
Another said: “Loved that the lads give Fred a love in the tunnel.”
A third fan wrote: “Pure love from Paul to Fred!!!”
Fred put in an assured performance against the Foxes however, he did come under fire for kicking out at winger Demarai Gray.
Just before the break, Fred was knocked to the floor and as Gray skipped past him, the United midfielder appeared to lash out with his left foot.
Fred escaped punishment for the incident and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher defended the Brazilian claiming he had his eyes on the ball.
“I’m not sure he’s actually seen him, I think he had his eye on the ball, he was going for the ball actually and Demarai Gray just appeared,” Carragher said.
