Avengers Infinity War: Guess which MCU character’s cameo was CUT?

After 20 movies made over a decade, the Cinematic Universe has amassed a whole host of weird and wonderful minor characters.

Now one of the Avengers Infinity War directors has revealed that Howard the Duck, who cameoed in Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel, was due to have a scene in the Marvel epic.

Speaking with , Anthony Russo said: “Howard the Duck was in one draft of the script.

“Howard the Duck actually had a really good scene…”

The 57-year-old said: “To tell you the actual truth, I am going to Marvel to pitch Howard the Duck, a new movie.

“In like three weeks. I want to direct the Howard the Duck remake. Why not dream big, right? I’m into it.”

Also fellow Avengers director Joe Russo has confirmed Howard survived the Snap, so perhaps he’ll turn up in Avengers 4?

The CGI Duckworldian is voiced by Seth Green and was originally one of the Collector’s living exhibits on Knowhere before being freed in an explosion during Guardians of the Galaxy.

He next cameoed in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 having a drink on Contraxia with a woman.

No doubt this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Howard the Duck in the MCU.
