After being given an extended break due to his exploits at the World Cup, Juventus fans were able to witness the first glimpse of the 33-year-old in action wearing the famous black and white strip.
Just five thousand fans were packed into the stadium in Villar Perosa, an estate owned by the Agnelli family which has hosted the friendly since 1955.

And having Ronaldo in such close proximity was too much for some fans as they managed to invade the pitch, rushing up to Ronaldo for photos.
One fan could be spotted wrapping his arms around the five-time Champions League winner.
But Ronaldo looked composed as he happily posed for photos with a few of them before the supporters were whisked away by security.
It has become a tradition down the years for fans to storm onto the pitch, marking an end to the match.
Last year’s friendly lasted just 50 minutes before the game had to be abandoned and this year’s game also ended prematurely, ending after 70 minutes.
Ronaldo could be set to make his competitive debut for Juventus next week when the Serie A gets underway.
The reigning Italian champions travel to take on Chievo before their first home game takes place a week later when they host Lazio.
