The rules for King Pin were revealed in a post on the Epic Games website outlining what’s in store for the Fortnite Summer Skirmish this week.
These are the rules for Fortnite Summer Skirmish week 5: “The team with the most points at the end of eight matches wins.
“Eliminations earn players points towards placement at the end of the event.
“Earning a Victory Royale will provide a team with a 3x Elimination bonus in the next match.”
In the week 5 King Pin format an elimination will earn players taking part in the Fortnite Summer Skirmish one point.
A Victory Royale will net Fortnite players a 3x Elimination Bonus in their next match.
While seven or more eliminations will reward Fortnite Summer Skirmish players with a 2x Elimination Bonus next match.
This week will also see Epic Games ratcheting up the amount of prize money for the Fortnite Summer Skirmish.
During the Fortnite Summer Skirmish week 4 the top prize was a handsome $67,500, with the runner up getting $54,000.
But this time the Fortnite makers are dishing out even more money as prizes for the Fortnite Summer Skirmish.
Top place in the Fortnite Summer Skirmish week 5 will be rewarded with a hefty $75,000, while second place will get $60,000.
The final spot on the podium will get $50,000 with prize money being rewarded all the way back to 20th place.
The team of duos in that last prize money spot will get $7,500.

The Fortnite Summer Skirmish is running for eight weeks and in total Epic Games has a prize money pool of $8million.
