Meghan Markle celebrates her 37th birthday today alongside husband Prince Harry.
The slender Duchess of Sussex has long kept up her healthy eating habits in order to stay slim.
Her love of green juice and salads has been documented on her now-deleted lifestyle website, The Tig.
However, Meghan, who is also a foodie, has her vices just like the rest of us – and will no doubt enjoy these on her birthday.
Her favourite foodie vice is French fries, or chips as they are more commonly known in the UK.
She revealed her love of both chips and wine in an interview with Delish.
“French fries and vino are my vices,” she told the publication.
She added: “I’m always hoping I’m having lunch with people, so we can share fries. It’s its own food group for me.”
She also spoke of her love of poutine, a chips, cheese and gravy combination popular in Canada.
“It’s got to squeak when you bite into it.”
“The cheese curds should make a squeaking noise when you bite into them or squeeze them.
“That’s how you know you’ve got the right kind.”
Where will Meghan Meghan celebrate her birthday? Meghan Markle will spend her 37th birthday on August 4 at the wedding of Prince Harry’s childhood friend Charlie Van Straubenzee who will marry Daisy Jenks, a wedding and party video maker.
Prince Harry will be best man at the ceremony, he has been best friends with Charlie since they met while attending Ludgrove Prep School in Berkshire.
Charlie and his brother Thomas were reportedly ushers at the wedding of Harry and Meghan back in May.
Royal photographer Tim Rooke said: “Unfortunately I will be missing the wedding of Charlie Van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks where Prince Harry will be best man on August 4th in Churt Surrey as I will be on the beach. He then added: “Can’t do everything!”
The brother of the groom Thomas Van Straubenzee is also a close friend of the royals and he is the godfather to Princess Charlotte.
Prince William is also friends with the groom and is expected to take time out of father duties to attend the ceremony.
Meghan spent her 36th birthday with Prince Harry on safari in Africa when Prince Harry organised a secret party with a jungle barbecue around a campfire.
The Duchess of Sussex also shares her birthday with the Queen’s late mother.
