Tour de France rider gets PRIVATES out on live TV, WEES on side of road in X-rated footage

The Tour came to an end today in what was a victory parade for winner Geraint Thomas.

Riders sipped champagne while riding their bikes and chatted as they made their way to the finish line in Paris.

But in X-rated footage broadcast live on ITV, one rider was seen pulling off the front of the pack before stopping his bike next to a bush.

He then stopped to urinate in full view of the TV cameras as his fellow riders were seen laughing.

The incident didn’t escape the eyes of TV viewers with one writing: “Couldn’t they have a P*** before the start #TourdeFrance.”

“I don’t watch much of the #TourdeFrance Is all that stopping for a wee usual?” questioned another.

While another said: “#tdf #letour #TourdeFrance Never seen them actually having a wee before on the TdF – a first for everything. Must be all that champagne. @ITV”

Thomas yesterday fell into the arms of his wife Sara and burst into tears after he effectively became the Tour de France champion.

Thomas only has to stay upright today on the ceremonial roll into Paris to become Team Sky’s sixth winner in seven years on Le Tour – and the third Brit, after Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome, to land the coveted Yellow Jersey.

Already a double Olympic champion on the track, Thomas became the new poster boy for cycling and gasped: “It’s insane. The last time I cried was when I got married. I don’t know what has happened to me.”

His third place in the final time trial left Thomas 1min 51sec ahead of Holland’s Tom Dumoulin with four-times champion Froome reclaiming a place on the podium in third.

Thomas said of his emotional reunion with the missus: “I didn’t know my wife was here, which probably made it worse!

“I guess after taking it day by day and climb by climb, suddenly that wall I had built around myself to shut everything out came falling down.”

Asked about Team Sky’s domination of Le Tour since 2012, he grinned: “I’m quite happy with that. It’s not a problem for me.”
