Willian and Hazard transfer demand
Arsenal always miss the boat when it comes to signing world-class players, former Gunners striker John Hartson claims.
He says the Gunners should be in for the likes of Eden Hazard and Willian when these world-class players become available.
“In the last few years, Arsenal aren’t in for the best players in the world,” Hartson exclusively told Express Sport while speaking at the Premier League and BT Disability Football Festival at Manchester City’s Etihad Campus.
“Why aren’t they in for the likes of Hazard or Willian? They won’t go and spend the £80m or £90m that City or Liverpool will, like they showed with [Virgil] van Dijk.

Chelsea plan Ramsey bid
Arsenal could have battle on their hands to keep Aaron Ramsey with Chelsea poised to lodge a bid worth £30million.
That’s according to the Daily Mail on Sunday, who claim the Blues are watching negotiations between Arsenal and Ramsey closely.
The Wales international has just 12 months left on his current deal, with the Gunners desperate to him down to a new contract.
But talks have not progressed and Chelsea are ready to pounce if Arsenal fail to agree terms with the midfielder.
Barca boss issues Dembele update
Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has suggested Ousmane Dembele will not leave the club this summer in a bitter blow to Arsenal.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for the France international following Barcelona’s acquisition of Malcom from Bordeaux.
Dembele struggled for game time last season, largely due to injury problems, but the addition of Malcom could force the former further down the pecking order.
However, Valverde is already planning on having the former Borussia Dortmund star available to him next season.
“Let’s hope it’s his season,” said Valverde. “He is an extraordinary player. The past year has been complicated because of the injuries, but even so he has brought us a lot.
“The important thing is that there is competition within the team. There are a lot of matches and we can not handle them with only eleven players.”
