Star Wars Solo: EIGHT deleted scenes CONFIRMED with DVD and Blu-ray release date

Some other bonus features have been unveiled for the product, which is confirmed to come out on September 24 in the UK.

It will be out on digital download one week earlier, on September 17.

The extensive list of bonus features applies to the digital download and Blu-ray releases only, with the former also coming with an exclusive feature documenting the history of the Millennium Falcon.

Ron Howard’s movie may have been a relative box office disappointment but it looks set to leave fans very satisfied when it debuts.

The list of deleted scenes is as follows:

  • Proxima’s Den
  • Corellian Foot Chase
  • Han Solo: Imperial Cadet
  • The Battle of Mimban: Extended
  • Han Versus Chewie: Extended
  • Snowball Fight!
  • Meet Dryden: Extended
  • Coaxium Double-Cross

Other features include a roundtable featurette with director and cast, and a Phoebe Waller-Bridge clip about the making of droid L3-37.

There’ll also be a Team Chewie behind-the-scenes featurette, and screenwriters Jonathan and Lawrence Kasdan will be seen talking about the script.

Escape from Corellia is a feature looking at the high-octane chase at the start of the film, with another examining the explosive train heist.

Scoundrels, Droids, Creatures and Cards: Welcome to Fort Ypso is a featurette taking an in-depth tour of the bar where Sabaac is played, and Into the Maelstrom: The Kessel Run explores another nail-biting moment.

The film stars Alden Ehrenreich as a younger Han Solo, with Emilia Clarke, Paul Bettany, Donald Glover and Woody Harrelson also on board.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is out on digital download on September 17, and DVD and Blu-ray on September 24.
