Donald Trump’s star on Hollywood Walk of Fame DESTROYED with pickaxe – SHOCK PICTURES

Donald Trump’s star was destroyed overnight by a vandal using a pickaxe.

NBC journalist Jonathan Gonzalez said: “So this just happened again. Somebody used a pick axe to destroy Donald Trump’s star on the Walk of Fame.

“Still trying to learn more, but we know it’s been vandalised multiple times, just never on this level.”

The Los Angeles Police Department are investigating the incident.

The vandal is believed to have concealed the pickaxe in a guitar case.

The star has already been vandalised at least once in the last two years.

One creative protestor constructed a tiny mock border wall around the star in 2016, when Mr Trump was still a candidate.

And just weeks later a protestor, James Otis, damaged the star with a sledgehammer.

He said he wanted to sell off the pieces of the damaged star to the women who claimed they were sexually assaulted by Mr Trump.

Mr Otis was ordered to complete 20 days of litter-picking for the vandalism, as well as pay the local authorities more than $4,000 in costs to repair the star.

The star was constructed as recognition for Mr Trump’s work on the US reality TV show The Apprentice.

A swastika has also previously been spraypainted on the star.
