WWE RAW: Ronda Rousey’s next appearance confirmed before SummerSlam clash

Rousey came close to winning the RAW Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank last month as she almost made former champion Nia Jax tap out to the Armbar.

However, the second ever Ms Money in the Bank Alexa Bliss attacked the UFC legend and took her out of commission after causing a disqualification.

Bliss then cashed in her briefcase and hit Jax with Twisted Bliss before regaining the belt she lost at WrestleMania 34.

Rousey then snapped on the next night on RAW after the new champion called her an ‘overhyped rookie’.

The first ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion powerbombed The Goddess through a wooden table and then launched a savage attack on RAW General Manager Kurt Angle as well as two referees.

That landed her in hot water as Angle then slapped her with a kayfabe 30-day suspension a few weeks before Extreme Rules.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet, however, managed to attend Extreme Rules and watched Bliss defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Jax from the front row of the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The champion had Mickie James at ringside whereas the challenger brought Natalya out to back her up during her Extreme Rules Match.

During the bout James and Bliss attacked Natalya and Rousey then decided to get involved and assaulted both the champion and her associate.

Little Miss Bliss retained the title but suffered yet another attack from ‘Rowdy’ who was then punished by Angle and Constable Baron Corbin who added another week to her suspension.

However, the MMA hero’s ban ends next week and is set to return before challenging Bliss for the title at SummerSlam on August 19 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
