
The publisher and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer was asked by a fan on Twitter if Cena will be part of WWE’s biggest Pay-Per-View show of the summer.
Rumours suggest The Champ could make a huge comeback at SummerSlam and Meltzer isn’t ruling such a scenario out as he replied: “Rumor has it he will.”
According to reports the 16-time world champion may rekindle his rivalry with The Undertaker next month.
The ex-WWE Champion faced Undertaker at WrestleMania 34 in April and lost in under three minutes following just one Chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver.
Many thought Taker had retired last year following an emotional loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 as he broke character at the end of the match by laying his signature black jacket, gloves and hat in the middle of the ring before saluting the crowd.

The ex-WWE Champion’s next confirmed appearance will take place at WWE Super Show-Down on October 6 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia where he will face Triple H for the last time ever.
Cena is also expected to appear down under but he has not yet been linked with a match after his last performance at the Greatest Royal Rumble where he beat Triple H.
