World War 3: Trump is about to pull off something ‘VERY BIG’ against Iran, says US senator

US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham warned Iran is the “biggest threat” to America and insisted is ready to “bring the Iranian regime down”.

Speaking on Fox News, Mr Graham said: “This is the worst regime in the world in terms of threats.

“Russia, North Korea are threats. Radical Islam, like Al-Qaeda are threats. But the biggest threat of all to me is this regime in . They are religious nazis who are trying to develop a nuclear capability.”

In order to shut down the Iran regime, Senator Graham said the US President must: “Break their back economically and impose sanctions on their oil.

“Drive them out of Syria, don’t cut a deal with Russia to give them Syria. Stand up to them through the entire mid-East. Help Israel with he Iranian Hezbollah.

“Break their economy. Stand with the Iranian people – get information into Iran that will drive the Iranian regime crazy.

“We are on the verge of history here with Iran and I want to compliment President Trump and Mike Pompeo.

“We are about to pull off something very big.”

Tensions between the US and Iran have been at an all-time high in recent days after President Trump wrote an explosive tweet on Monday directed at Iran.

Donald Trump wrote on Twitter: “To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE.

“WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!”

Mr Trump was responding to a threat from President Rouhani, who told a gathering of diplomats: “America should know that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, and war with Iran is the mother of all wars.”

The rising tensions between the two countries comes after Mr Trump cancelled a much-criticised treaty his predecessor Barack Obama signed with Iran in 2015 to stop it developing nuclear weapons.

Mr Trump has expressed scepticism about the effectiveness of the deal which also included Britain, France and Germany.
