EE is about to offer millions of customers a deal that may be hard to refuse

EE is shaking up its mobile contracts with a new service it is calling Flex plans.

This new concept is aimed at the millions of customers who want the flexibility of a pay as you go deal but on a monthly contract.

Taking out a Flex plan allows you to change the amount of data, calls and texts at anytime and there’s even the option to pause or stop a plan and take a break whenever you like.

However, perhaps one of the most appealing parts of this deal is that EE will allow those on these new 30-day contracts to roll over their unused data to the following month.

And that’s not the only good news about data as the mobile operator is also giving Flex plan customers an extra 500MB every three months.

Prices for the new contracts start from £10 per month which offers 2GB of data, 1,000 minutes and unlimited texts.

The most expensive plan is £30 per month which gives you 20GB of data, 3,000 minutes and unlimited texts.

Speaking about the new deals, Max Taylor, Managing Director of Marketing, EE said: “Our new plans give customers great flexibility and control and are unpinned by the UK’s best network. Customers on Flex plans have the freedom to pause or change their plan at any time, with the value and simplicity offered from a traditional pay monthly plan.”

EE says its new Flex plans will be available from July 25.

The news comes as and 4G price plans aimed at bringing fast speeds to those on the move.

The mobile operator is launching new 4GEE WiFi and 4GEE WiFi Mini products which can be used to connect up to 20 devices when away from fixed line broadband.

The new, CAT 12 enabled 4GEE WiFi, which is capable of supporting download speeds of up to 600Mbp, provides access to EE’s superfast 4G+ speeds while providing a high capacity connection to 20 devices simultaneously.

The device also comes with a powerful 4,300 mAh battery bank offering up to 15 hours of use. It also supports USB Type C charge, so users can charge both their handsets and tablets at the same time.

Meanwhile, the smaller new Cat 7 enabled 4GEE WiFi Mini, capable of supporting theoretical download speeds of up to 300Mbps, also connects up to 20 devices and is more suited for those who want practical connectivity in a lighter package.
