Lewis Hamilton tried to push his Mercedes back to the pitlane following a hydraulic failure in qualifying for the German Grand Prix.
The four-time world champion will start well down the grid after losing drive during the first qualifying session.
Hamilton then jumped out of his car and attempted to push it back to the pits, having been told to pull over by his engineers.
The 33-year-old then gave up and crouched down by his Silver Arrow before marshals took over to wheel the car away.
Hamilton, who this week signed a new contract with Mercedes, is currently eight points behind Ferrari ace Sebastian Vettel in the drivers’ championship.
