Star Wars Solo movie: Digital, Blu-ray and DVD release date plus EIGHT deleted scenes

Poor old Han really did find himself flying Solo when he blasted into cinemas.

The ongong Last Jedi fan backlash prompted some of the dedicated fanbase to boycott the spin-off Anthology movie.

It performed so poorly that the expected sequels are in doubt and there is still speculation over the future of Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy.

But the movie itself did not deserve such treatment and may find a happier place on home entertainment, especially with an aray of fun extras and deeletd scenes that make teh most of the movie’s humour and powerful action scens.

Solo is released on VOD digital platforms in HD and 4K Ultra HD and on Movies Anywhere on September 14 in the US, folowed by the Blu-ray and DVD on September 25.

It comes to the UK a little later. The DVD will be released on September 24. There are no dates as yet for the Blu-ray, digital or 4K Ultra HD dates but these typically follow around two weeks later.

The new trailer for the package give sa teaser of some of the bonus features which include deleted and extended scenes, and a joyous snowball fight between our two heroes.
