Surely not?
How could The Snap possibly be any worse?
The sight of Peter Parker falling into Tony Stark’s arms and crying: “I don’t want to go,” was bad enough. Then we learned what Groot’s final word meant. Yes, the teenage twig’s last “Groot” cried out to Rocket Raccoon actually meant “Dad.”
Now Marvel boss Kevin Feige has just a new layer of pain to the awful events at the end of Avengers 3.Β

Feige was being interviewed after the opening of Ant-Man and the Wasp in the US.
The film doesn’t open in the UK until August but it is almost impossible not to find out what happens, since the full plot summary in on Wikipedia.
One of the end credit scenes shows Scott Lang trapped in the Quantum Realm when Hope and Hank Pym, along with Janey Van Dyne, all turn to dust in The Snap.
AVENGERS INFINITY WAR DIGITAL AND BLU-RAY RELEASE DATE REVEALED
The clever people at Birth Movies Death asked Feige a particulary probing question about the Snap, motivated by their concern for the lovable tiny insect army.
BMD asked: “The end of Ant-Man and the Wasp led to conversations. Are half the animals dead? Are half of the horses gone? Half of the ants?”
Marvel mastermind Feige did not hesitate when he replied: “Yes! Yes. All life.”
CAPTAIN MARVEL MOVIE: NEW IMAGE GIVES HUGE CLUE TO INFINITY WAR AND AVENGERS 4 LINK
This means the stakes are even higher for Avengers 4.
Not only do the remaining heroes have the fate of all the races of the universe in their hands, they also need to find a way to save every species, whether alien, animal, bird or insect or otherwise.
Of course, if Feige said “all life” wouldn’t that imply plants, too? This opens up a major flaw in the movies, since Thanos’ entire plan was to wipe out half of all living beings so that resources were sustainable. If he also wiped out half of all the available foof supply, didn’t that defeat the object?Β
ANT-MAN AND THE WASP IS OUT ON JULY 5 IN THE US AND AUGUST 3 IN THE UK.Β AVENGERS 4 IS OUT ON APRIL 27, 2019.
