Epic Games Fortnite update: Bad news for PS4, iOS and Xbox One Battle Royale players

There’s some bad news for fans of a certain Battle Royale item, which has been removed on all major platforms.

Epic Games have now confirmed they’ve had to take out the Boogie Bombs from Fortnite.

This was due to massive glitch that allowed players to carry unlimited weapons when having the item in their inventory.

This was as close to game-breaking as possible, providing some players with an advantage over their peers.

Being able to store more healing items was always going to cause problems, not to mention that fans may have found much biggers ways to use the glitch.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

But instead of just removing the Boogie Bomb, Epic Games have had to take the whole Boogie Bomb out of the game.

It should be noted that the special grenade item will not be gone forever, just until Epic Games put together the right patch.

And it’s safe to say that the development team should be able to sort the problems in a very short amount of time.

Another new item is expected to be added to the game soon, although concerns have been raised about its impact.

Fortnite Battle Royale’s new jet pack has been discussed by Twitch streamer Ninja.

The jet pack release date was recently pushed back, as Epic Games continues to test and balance the new device.

Speaking to Forbes, Ninja said that jet fuel could replace building materials, and that jet pack use might be limited in the early stages.

He certainly doesn’t think it will break the game, speculating that it might only take you five floors before running out of fuel.

“It might take fuel, it might be able to pause in mid-air and shoot accurately, but in my eyes I don’t see it being broken,” he said.

“I see the jet fuel really just being a replacement for materials – in an early game you’re very limited, mobility wise, chasing people down on a roof because you don’t have that many mats.

“Let’s say you pick up a jetpack, you have X amount fuel, it will only take you maybe five floors, five materials before you have to find a place to refuel.

“They’re not stupid, they’re not going to introduce something that will break the game – I think that’s why they delayed it.”

There’s a chance that the new Jetpack item could be released later this week, although Epic Games have not committed to a set a launch date yet.

Nevertheless, it is expected to arrive before the end of the month, or at least before Season 3 of the game ends in April.
