
The helicopter, which was carrying seven people on board, is believed to have crashed in the Anbar region of Iraq.
Emergency services and rescue teams are on their way to the helicopter, a HH-60 Blac Hawk, according to CNN.
US defence officials said the Pave Hawk was not on a combat mission.
It is unclear how seriously injured the personnel are.
The US is currently leading a coalition, dubbed Operation Inherent Resolve, fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

“We are currently gathering the facts and coordinating with the appropriate national authorities. We will issue a statement at the appropriate time, but have nothing further to offer at the moment.”
