Microsoft have announced their latest releases for the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program.
The Xbox One games list now includes three classic titles from the Xbox 360, all of which are playable today.
Microsoft’s Larry Hryb confirmed on Twitter that games like Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Axel & Pixel have been added to the BC list.
The digital titles that you own and are part of the Back Compat game catalog will automatically show up in the “Ready to Install” section on your Xbox One.
For disc-based games that are a part of the Back Compat game catalog, insert the disc and the console will begin downloading the game to your hard drive.
After the game has downloaded to your hard drive, users will still need to keep the game disc in the drive to play.
The most popular of the three new games is Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which currently has over 19,000 votes backing its inclusion.
For those that don’t remember the Ubisoft title, Future Soldier is a third-person tactical shooter that was originally released in 2012.

Fans are hopeful that Microsoft will now turn its attention to the original Xbox Backwards Compatibility list.
While Microsoft is keen to assure fans that more games will be added over time, Xbox boss Phil Spencer said that there are complications with licenses.
“There are a number of OG games in BC pipeline, they won’t drop as often as the 360 games but team is working to validate and get permissions,” Spencer tweeted.
“More complicated with some just due to the age of the rights etc.”
Original Xbox releases joined the backwards compatibility lineup last year.
Compatible games include Ninja Gaiden Black, Bloodrayne 2, Crimson Skies, Dead to Rights and Grabbed by the Ghoulies.
